SpaceChecker is a smart app that supports employees in flexible work location models with scheduling and reserving workspaces in the office. The functions of the app were developed jointly by employees who use so-called activity-based workplaces and therefore want to work in the company office (New Work). Employees can conveniently book their desired workplace in the office using a simple control panel from their own smartphone or tablet at the office entrance or via the Internet browser.It is just as easy to reserve conference rooms, lounge zones, parking spaces and charging stations. Whats more: Colleagues can find each other, arrange to meet for lunch and set their favorite places to work.SpaceChecker provides an optimal overview of the freely available range of workplaces and conference rooms, their equipment and capacities of all locations, buildings, floors and company areas.After using the app, users can give feedback to facility management and thus contribute to improving the offer and the satisfaction of other users.The prerequisite for using the app is the creation of the bookable workplaces and rooms in an admin portal. The app was developed by Flokks workplace experts in cooperation with a specialist software company.User data is hosted in a data center in Frankfurt am Main. Important: The employer does not receive any so-called raw data about users and their booking behavior. A personal assignment of bookings and feedback to persons is therefore excluded.
